Interstaff’s Partnerships
Our strategic partnerships empower nurses with robust support and essential resources and help hospitals achieve long-term staffing stability with skilled, dedicated professionals.

Partner Sigma
Interstaff is proud to collaborate with Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) through a dynamic partnership that amplifies our commitment to supporting and empowering nurses and hospital facilities.
Why We Decided to Partner
Interstaff seeks to establish meaningful connections with healthcare professionals and hospital leaders while helping to address critical staffing shortages. By sponsoring key events like Creating Healthy Work Environments and other educational initiatives, Interstaff demonstrates a deep passion for fostering environments where patients, nurses, and hospital units can thrive.
Support & Desired Outcomes
Investing in Sigma’s impactful programs creates pathways for nurses to build their skills, grow in leadership, and inspire positive change in healthcare. The sponsorship also amplifies our role as a trusted partner for hospitals, offering evidence-based workforce solutions that meet both short—and long-term needs. Together with Sigma, we are setting the stage for sustainable growth in nursing leadership and fostering high standards of patient care in hospitals.

Partner The Daisy Foundation
Interstaff has proudly partnered with the Daisy Foundation to honor our nurses’ exceptional work in hospitals. Through this partnership, we present the prestigious Daisy Award, celebrating the outstanding care our nurses provide while accessing the foundation’s valuable support and resources.
Reason for Partnership:
Interstaff’s partnership with the Daisy Foundation strengthens our commitment to recognizing nurses in meaningful ways. Through nominations and awards presented in our Awards Program, one of six Community Programs designed to support nurses throughout their Interstaff journey, we celebrate their extraordinary contributions. Public recognition boosts job satisfaction and confidence and reflects our core value of empowering others.
Support & Desired Outcomes:
This partnership further amplifies the recognition nurses receive for their exceptional care. Through this collaboration, the Interstaff Daisy Committee considers hospital-based Daisy nominations when selecting award recipients. This dual consideration, by both the hospital and Interstaff, increases the likelihood of a nurse being honored with a Daisy Award, especially when a patient nominates them. It’s a powerful way to celebrate our nurses’ extraordinary impact on those they care for.

Partner Grand Canyon
Our strategic partnership with Grand Canyon University (GCU) was created to empower our nurses and their families through enhanced professional development and continuing education opportunities.
Reason for Partnership:
We joined forces with Grand Canyon University because of their commitment to educational excellence and flexible learning options. GCU’s broad range of programs allows our nurses to explore and expand their expertise, whether advancing in nursing or branching out into new disciplines. This partnership underscores Interstaff’s dedication to supporting the growth and lifelong learning of our healthcare professionals, which in turn contributes to better patient care and stronger hospital performance.
Support & Desired Outcomes:
For Nurses – This program is designed to foster both personal and professional growth. By easing the path to higher education with exclusive benefits and dedicated support, nurses can build new skills, enhance their leadership potential, and pursue diverse academic interests—all of which help them navigate the evolving healthcare landscape.

Partner Mary Seacole Trust
Our partnership allows the winner of the Interstaff Mary Seacole Award to be recognized by Interstaff and the Mary Seacole Trust—the organization that honors the life and legacy of the pioneering nurse our award is named after.
Why We Decided to Partner:
We named one of our awards after Mary Seacole because her courage, compassion, and commitment to serving others mirror the values we hold dear at Interstaff. A Jamaican-British nurse and healer, Mary Seacole broke barriers and defied prejudice in the 19th century, caring for soldiers during the Crimean War when others turned her away. She represents resilience, leadership, entrepreneurship, and the often-overlooked contributions of nurses of color. Our partnership with the Mary Seacole Trust deepens the meaning of this award and reflects our shared mission to uplift and celebrate the accomplishments of nurses from diverse backgrounds.
Support & Desired Outcomes
Each year, a representative from the Mary Seacole Trust joins us at our Annual Awards Ceremony to present the Mary Seacole Award, offering our winners and finalists a special moment of recognition rooted in history and honor. Award recipients also receive memorabilia from the Trust that celebrates Mary Seacole’s enduring legacy—reminders of the trail she blazed and the leadership she inspired. Through this partnership, we hope to encourage and empower the next generation of diverse nurse leaders to follow in her footsteps.
